What is HVAC?

HVAC stands for Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning. It refers to the technology used for indoor environmental comfort, specifically the control of indoor temperature, humidity, and air quality. The best way to stay on top of these issues is to have an annual maintenance contract with your HVAC contractor. Bonomo Home Services offers maintenance contracts for residential, commercial and coastal applications. All manufacturers warranties require a maintenance contract for the duration of the warranty.

How often should my HVAC be serviced?

First, your HVAC system should be serviced monthly by changing your filters and adding an algaecide or vinegar to the condensate line to keep drain lines clean and functioning correctly. Secondly, an HVAC contractor should professionally maintenance and inspect your system twice a year. There are systems that can be added that can communicate issues to the owner and contractor. Systems with these additions can be professionally maintenance's on demand and once annually.
